With the bay of Green Bay on one side and Lake Michigan on the other, Door County's 300 miles of shoreline enclose not only the Midwest's choice vacation destination, but scenic golf courses as well. Golf courses that will challenge you, whatever your skill level. And all surrounded by Door County's natural beauty and a carefree atmosphere that allows you to really relax after the spikes are cleaned and the score cards tallied.
Eleven golf courses call the Door County Peninsula home, and have from 9 to 36 holes each. Courses are located from south of Sturgeon Bay to Washington Island, and most places in between. All courses offer a range of greens fees to accommodate both the weekend golfer and the 3-handicapper, and some courses also offer lessons for those who would like to learn the game. Calling ahead for tee times is recommended, but most courses will accept walk-ons depending on the season and course availability.

Stonehedge Golf Course & Driving Range
(New in 1993) This challenging 9-hole course plays to par 35 with water along three of its fairways. The course is carved out of a picturesque landscape of mature oak, poplar and wild cherry trees. Facilities include power & pull carts, club rental, lessons and a club house with pro shop and bar serving food and spirits daily.

The Orchards at Egg Harbor Golf Course
(New in 2000) The Orchards is Door County's new spectacular 18-hole championship course, featuring bent grass fairways, tees and greens. The course plays from 5,500 to more than 7,000 yards, winds through woods, orchards, and scenic meadows with a picturesque lake. Facilities include: range, pro shop, bar, grill.

Alpine Golf Course
Door County's only regulation, public 36-hole course. Mostly wooded with watered fairways. Blue 9 boasts spectacular view of the bay with drive off the top of the bluff to green below. Riding cars, rental clubs, tramride to blufftop, putting green, bar and grill. Tee times recommended.
